Frowin, the host of the Mountain Living Apartments, is a passionate mountainbiker himself and has therefore planed his house according to the needs of bikers.
In Venosta valley, which is located on the sunny side of the Alps in Eastern South Tyrol, a network of more than 80 trails is waiting to be discovered by mountainbikers and freeriders! From calm routes on low pastures and single trails for beginners to challenging and adventurous trails for passionate bikers - in Val Venosta there is a route for everyone!
Thanks to the mild and dry climate Val Venosta has lots of sunny days throughout the year so that you can spend a mountainbike holiday from the early spring until late autumn. Another unique characteristic of the mountains in Val Venosta are the many beautiful panoramic views you have from above and the many huts and small restaurants on the pastures, where you can try many local specialities.

Bike rental center & Cube test center
For those who do not want to take their own bikes to the holidays there is our in-house rental service, which offers you several different bike models (mountainbike, racing bike, trekking bike or child's bike). In addition there is also an official Cube® test center in our house own sports shop “Sport Tenne“ where you can test the latest Cube bike models and, of course, also rent them!
Biking fun on the 3-country trail!
The “Enduro“ trail starts on top oft he pasture of San Valentino and brings you back to the valley on over 3 km of pure fun. The cable railway, which is situated only 50 m next to the Mountain Living Apartments, brings you directly from 1.470 m up to 2.200 m above sea level!

In and around San Valentino alla Muta and throughout Val Venosta, you can enjoy a wide range of activities in summer, including hiking, cycling, mountain biking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing on the San Valentino lake, archery, trail running, paragliding and motorbike tours across the surrounding Alpine passes.
Are there hiking trails directly from the accommodation?
Yes, numerous hiking trails at different elevations can be accessed directly from the Mountain Living Apartments. San Valentino lake, with its lakeside circular trail, is just a short distance away, while the Haideralm cable car, only 100 metres from the apartments, takes you directly into the Belpiano–Malga San Valentino hiking area.
Are there any cycling or mountain biking routes nearby?
Yes, there are numerous cycling and mountain biking routes of varying difficulty around the Mountain Living Apartments. Enjoy leisurely rides along the Via Claudia Augusta and around the San Valentino lake, challenging mountain bike routes and the 3-Country Enduro Trails. The Haideralm cable car, just 100 metres away, takes you straight to the Belpiano–Malga San Valentino biking area. Your host and cycling expert Frowin will be happy to share personal tour tips and recommendations.

Yes, the property has its own sports shop, Sport Tenne, offering bike hire, a CUBE test centre and a bike shop. Here you can hire mountain bikes, road bikes, trekking bikes and children’s bikes. Guests staying at the Mountain Living Apartments receive a 10% discount at the on-site bike hire service and shop.
